About Our Name & Logo
Summa is a Latin word which means: the highest part / whole, sum.
Jesus Christ is the fullness of God in physical form, the head of the church, and the focus of our faith. He is to be preeminent in all areas of our lives. He is our Summa, the highest part, the whole of our faith, our everything.
The arrow, in the letter A, points up to God as the highest part of reality. The three lines represent the triune nature of God, and the color green represents God’s design to restore all of creation to perfection.
We use the word Church because we are a community of people committed to our Savior, Jesus Christ. He is our head and Senior Pastor. We are His body, His people, gathered to worship and serve Him in all we do.
