Summa Church exists to proclaim the name of Jesus Christ, and reveal His worth to all people, so that in everything He might be preeminent.

Summa Church exists to proclaim…
Publicly declaring and demonstrating the preeminence of Jesus, with clarity, is our mission. For this reason, preaching is a big part of who we are. Our goal is to preach in a way that connects the good news of Jesus with our everyday lives. And we’re not going to limit our proclamation to our gathered worship services. We want to have ongoing conversations about Jesus as we take Him into every aspect of our lives.
the name of Jesus Christ…
We love the name of Jesus because we love Jesus, and we want everyone we know to know Him. It is Jesus who saves us. It is in His name, not our own, that we are joined to the church through baptism. It is in His name, not our own, that we have an audience with the Father through prayer. Therefore, we will boldly speak the name, Jesus, the King of kings, Lord of lords, and Savior of the world.

Jesus is our treasure. We seek to love Him above all other things. We purpose to live in a way reflecting that we value Him more than anything else we could place at the center of our lives.

Our calling is to our neighbors in South Boston, but our mission doesn’t end here. We want to be a part of taking the message of Jesus to other parts of our city, our state, our country, and our world.
so that in everything He might be preeminent.
It was by Him, through Him, for Him, and to Him that all things were created. Our goal is to see our lives transformed so we treasure Jesus above all else.
